WELCOME CHRIS WALKER
Please welcome Plymouth Pickleball Club’s new Director of Pickleball, Chris Walker!
Chris is a high level player – competing in both APP and PPA tours. He’s a former collegiate tennis player at Michigan State University (GO GREEN) and is a two-time Paddle Tennis Beach National Champion.
Chris is also the founder of the Michigan Pickleball League, and serves as Captain of the Flint Tropics, a professional team within the MPL.
So, what’s Chris going to be doing at PPC?
As with all of us at PPC, Chris will wear many hats, but his focus will be pickleball experience and player development. This includes everything from our coaching program, all things “club team”, tournaments/leagues and other areas where we aim to expand opportunities for our players to grow and have fun on the court.
Be sure to introduce yourself when you see Chris at PPC! He’s looking forward to meeting everyone!

SUMMER LEAGUE
Congratulations to our Summer League Part Deux top finishers! The end of this league puts the final stamp on the summer season!
FALL LEAGUES
Dare we say “the smell of fall is in the air”? Eek! And that means it’s time to start thinking about fall leagues!
Our Women’s and Men’s Ladder Leagues are fun, competitive leagues geared toward 3.25-3.75+ level players – which includes strong competitors in our high intermediate through advanced groups.
Leagues run 8 weeks. Need to miss a week? No problem! We adjust play accordingly, so no need to find a sub!

We recently wrapped-up our SUMMER LUNCH LADDER LEAGUE. Congratulations to our top three finishers!
MLP-STYLE TEAM LEAGUE
he Monday MLP-Style Team League Season 3 is in the books! Another fun and competitive season wrapped up with The 3 Cs and Me taking the championship, followed by the Blue Legends with silver and Team Top Dink with bronze! A huge thank you to all of our players and captains who helped make this another great season.

CLUB TEAM NEWS
The Plymouth Galaxy Club Team wrapped up a great 2026 season with a hard-fought match against Brighton Pickleball Club! Our goal was to give as many PPC players as possible the opportunity to challenge themselves through fun, competitive team play—and 91 players joined the Galaxy roster, with nearly 70 competing in at least one match! For many, it was their first experience with tournament-level competition, and we’re proud of everyone who stepped up and gave it a shot.
We learned a lot and are already looking ahead to offseason player development, practices, and potential scrimmages with other clubs before the Club Cup returns next summer.
